RAFA Annual General Meeting – Exec Summary
The Meeting was well attended by members and friends of Hull Branch, including special guests Stuart Gray Northern Area Branch Support officer and Phil Waters from AQ Accounting.
Emma Smith, Chairman took the dedication and formally welcomed everyone to the 2018 AGM. Stuart Gray presented an excellent overview covering areas such as the new governance arrangements, General Data Protection Regulations and offered the Branch continued support.
A role call was provided by Ian Russell in honour of those who are no longer with us.
The minutes of the meeting were review and recorded as a true and accurate account of the previous AGM.
The Annual Report was presented thanking all those who have been actively involved with the Branch throughout the year.
Phil Waters from AQ Accounting provided an overview of the Branch Finances for 2017.These were accepted as a true and accurate record of the Branch Accounts.These will be submitted to Northern Area as per rules and regulations of the Association. AQ Accounting was elected to conduct an external review 2018.
Elections for Branch Executives took place, based on those members who had been nominated or offered to take up post again for 2018. Our Treasurer, however has only signed up for one more year, therefore should anyone wish to take on this position in 2019, please make your intentions know asap.

There were no resolutions for consideration at the AGM.
Kenneth Simmons and the Local ATC Sqns (152 City of Hull & 872 Hull West) have agreed to support carrying our standard in 2018.
